Baobab was awarded with the Judges’ Special Prize at the 2023 EO ESG AWARDS, held by the Japanese Chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) on March 9th.

The 2023 EO ESG AWARDS recognise the achievements of companies that are built around contributing to society The awards are one of the largest social events in Japan, and they are held with the aim of making an even greater social impact.

Companies taking part in the awards were judged on five indicators (the social issues they are attempting to solve, current performance, social impact and sustainability, novelty and originality, and free PR).

 

Five companies, including Baobab, were selected as finalists from the 58 companies that passed the document inspection, enabling them to take part in the final pitching session on the day of the awards. We were rated highly for our social impact and our initiatives and achievements up until now, resulting in Baobab earning the Judges’ Special Prize.
