In recent years, as the tide of generative AI surged, our entire team rowed together as one—staying true to our course and moving forward with care and purpose.

 

Among the fruits of this steady journey was a major achievement last fiscal year: securing a contract from one of the world’s leading Big Tech companies. To chart an even bolder course into the future, we transitioned to a renewed organizational structure, the “New Baobab,” on June 1, 2024.
We have already launched collaborative projects with AVPN and UNIDO, and our efforts to address global social issues are gaining momentum.

Introducing Our New Organizational Structure: “Shin Baobab”

 
Baobab Data Lab
In response to the growing demand for generative AI data development, we have integrated our image, text, and translation annotation teams into a unified structure—Baobab Data Lab—dedicated to consistently delivering high-quality training data.

 
Baobab Academy
Our annotation training program for refugee women, formerly known as the Annotation Leadership Program (ALT), has evolved into Baobab Academy, expanding access to learning opportunities for even more individuals.

 

Launch of Baobab Academy

Baobab Academy has officially launched.

With support from AVPN, Asia’s largest social investment network, Baobab Academy has begun offering generative AI training programs tailored for individuals with disabilities as well as those with migrant and refugee backgrounds.

In addition, a new project has started to support Ukraine’s recovery, following our selection by UNIDO (the United Nations Industrial Development Organization), one of the UN’s specialized agencies.
