*Freelancers who work remotely refers to people who “receive work from customers and, working from home or an equivalent place of their choosing via the use of data communications devices, create deliverables or provide services”. Remote freelance work is a flexible way of working that allows one to make effective use of one’s time and location, thereby enabling a person to combine work with childcare or caring for elderly relatives, etc. Not only does this help people to achieve a good work-life balance, it also allows a diverse pool of talented people to demonstrate what they are capable of.
